F1 Tour changed DRM Pole Position

DRM Golf has now a new leader on the Prize Money List. Taking advantage on the absence of “Gold Tee Maniac”, the “Wedge Magician” Fadle took 2nd place in the F1/DRM Tour and scooped $610,000, hence overtaking the pole position.

The “Lord of the Putt” still wants to prove his critics by breaking the DRM Gross Tour and climbed up the ladder to 3rd spot.

Another big climber is “Mad Dog” Romeo, in spite of losing the DRM points, he moves up from 12th to 9th place to push his way into the Top 8.
“Gold Buaya” and “Twister” are two Top 8 players that drop a place in the ranking. Whilst "Wood 5 Powerman" Hj Ayub climbed up a spot to 7th place taking over "Fairway Artist".

Mad Putt - F1 Glory

F1 Brunei managed to edge out DRM Golfers by 1 point, 328 to 327. DRM put on a good show even with the absence of their Top player, “Gold Tee Maniac” – Kamal Bahrom.

The table would turn if only DRM Mad Dog have not lost his concentration on the 13th hole (Index 1). “Mad Dog” lost his focus and just blinded tap his bogey putt that could gave DRM the extra point (MISSED). Nonetheless, Mad Dog put on one of his best DRM Tour performance with 101 gross, contributing 30 points.

The player who stole the show again was DRM’s “Lord of the Putt”. Sani stunned the field by scoring a flawless gross of 82, breaking the current DRM Tour gross record made by Kamal Bahrom (83). Sani also scooped the overall individual winner with a score of 43.

“Real Deal” Rafali was struggling from the 1st hole due to continuous psychoing done by F1’s “Show Stopper” Saney Halim. Saney earlier quoted “No deal to the Real Deal”, managed to stopped Rafali from producing his quality game.

Gold Tee Maniac UnsTOPpable?

Lord of the Putt (Sani) has burst into the Top 5 DRM Money List. He satisfied his entire supporters who voted for him on winning the DRM 9th Monthly Medal. Besides clinching the DRM Challenge Trophy, he collected $538,000 to knock down the Greenside Wizard (Shamsul) out of the Top 5 listing.

Both DRM Wood Powermen (Hj Ayub and Pg Shamhary) also climbs up one step up, closing in the Top 5 leaders.

The Gold Tee Maniac (Kamal), in spite of losing the title due to hitting 9 stroke on a short Par 3, still stay firm on top of the leaderboard clinching some cash to show his superiority.

DRM Buaya (Aizul) slips down to 4th place due to visiting almost all the bunkers available in Empire.
The tournament also had a few unfortunate incident involving Mr 101 (Rahim) and Big Show (Haidi). Mr 101, full of motivation trying to chase on the leaders had to withdraw after 14 holes due to food poisoning. Big Show’s debut game was also cut short after straining his shoulder.

Lord Of The Putt Going for the Trilogy?

The battle for the climb up the Prize Money Leaderboard is heating up. Kamal (current leader) can also feels the pressure after slipping another chance to grab his 3rd title of the season. He was also caught quoting: "Untuk menang DRM Monthly Medal bukan SEMPOI (translation: SIMPLE)"
The DRM Challenge Trophy winner had a very tight finish between Hj Ayub and Sani. Both scored a brilliant 88, but DRM's own Lord Of the Putt had the last laugh winning his 2nd title of the season based on count back. Hj Ayub regret not focussing on his last hole, that could put his name on the challenge trophy.
Sani was also interviewed after his victory, but his only reply was "HEHEH"

The Inter Asset was full of controversial outcome. The tournament was halted several times due to lightning. Lastly, playing with 12 holes only. Due to tied score for the Championship, 11th high score player was used to decide the winner.
