The season continues…

In spite of the exhausting DRM/F1 Malaysian Golf Tour, the DRM Golfers journey towards the Battle of the Bridge 2007 still linger in their mind.

This Saturday’s DRM Golf 16th Monthly Medal Tour will field approximately over 30 players. The competition will be tough considering the venue to be played is at the ROYAL BRUNEI GOLF & COUNTRY CLUB, Jerudong.

Historically, none of the DRM Golfer has actually really dominated this challenging course. Past DRM Champions: Captain Coach, Serial, Prodigy and the Recruit are all playing this Saturday, hoping that their lightning strikes again.

A lot will be up for grab at this tour, DRM Golf captain have announced to the Board of Directors on the following prizes to be awarded:

Novelties:
1) Nearest to Pin on all Par 3s
2) Longest Drive Challenge on Hole 17

1) Overall Best Gross Winner

5) Mad Cat – the Hybrid man of DRM, will put his F1 Tour results behind him
6) The Prodigy – also previous RBGCC Champion, unfortunately he need 1 more DRM tour to be eligible for the DRM Prize Money and DRM Golfer status
7) Pg Woody – Great shocker of 2007, will he be lurking in the top 5 again?
8) Red Knight’s Snake eye – still have not shine in 2007
9) The Loan Shark – starting 2007 brilliantly, have not miss a cut this year
10) Serial – another 2006 RBGCC Champion, is he focused enough to win this time?
11) Wonder Kid – another DRM prodigy who needs 1 more DRM Tour to claim the prize money
12) The Venezuelan Comrade – eager to show his strength at an unknown course
13) Baby Faced Assassin – the current DRM Challenge Trophy holder who destroyed the Freak
14) Lexus Mafia – can he master the tricky course of RBGCC with his powerful shots?
15) Your Highness – never underestimate his modest smile, he means business
16) Silent Slugger – previous winner of the longest drive challenge in RBGCC
17) El-Nino – The man who is always on fire…. To beat anyone
18) The Recruit – The man to watch in 2007, almost won the BOTB 2006
19) Mr. CIA – safety might be his background but hustling is his game
20) Y Drive – only able to get his “visa” to play for the DRM tour
21) Gold Tee – will his current good run continue?
22) The Real Deal – will he win any DRM title before his bachelor year is over?
23) Wizard – I will not mention that he is still searching for his 1st DRM Golf Title..Oops
24) Last but not least, the Freak – currently leads the 2007 DRM Golf Prize Money after winning the 1st DRM Golf Major of 2007 in Eastwood.

33) Mr. CIA’s friend – unknown profile, lets see on that day
34) Finally, Rein – the proud owner of the DRM/F1 Challenge Trophy that we will try to regain in May.
